OUT FROM THE CAR, EETELA QUITS AS MLA, LIKELY TO JOIN BJP ON 14TH:Eetela Rajender, Ex-Minister of TRS Government is resigns as MLA today. Representing the constituency of Huzurabad in Karimnagar District, Eetela enjoyed position of Health Minister during the Corona virus Pandemic.
Following a dramatic events of taking away the portfolio of Health, Eetela had to spend few days as minister without a portfolio. Sacked over the allegations of a land grab in the Village of Achampet in Medak District, Eetela accused Ruling Government as authoritative regime. Few more allegations erupted after he is expelled from the cabinet and cases were also registered against his family members. He tendered resignation to the membership of the party a few days ago.

“I have waited for Speaker to give me time to submit my resignation directly, but I couldn’t meet him. Hence, I am submitting my resignation to the Assembly Secretary” said Eetela Rajender.
According to Sources, BJP leadership has invited Eetela and on 14th this month, he would join the party in the presence of JP Nadda, BJP`s national president. Before submitting the resignation, Eetela held meetings with the Union Minister of the State for Home Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay of the BJP.
Few days ago, Eetela met the national leadership of BJP in Delhi over his political plan of action. Following his joining into BJP, the followers of Eetela and few other MLAs are expected to follow him, according to sources.
Born in Kamalapur, Karimnagar, Eetela Rajender is an entrepreneur, and a fore runner for the cause of Telangana movement. Eetela joined TRS in the year 2003, and from 2004, he is been a four time member of Legislative assembly till to date. He discharged his functions as floor leader of TRS from 2004 to 2009 in AP Assembly.
After 2014, he became the first Finance Minister of Telangan. He took the portfolio of Health in the second term of TRS Government.
One of the top leader from the region of Telangana and of OBC, both the Congress and BJP were courting Eetela to join their party.
