  1. Paricutin: This lesser-known natural wonder in Michoacan, Mexico is a cinder volcano that last erupted in 1955. It was named one of the natural wonders of the world because mankind witnessed its birth and rapidly growing formation. Tourists can embark on a twelve-mile round-trip to the peak of the volcano, either by hiking or horseback. Sandy banks and lava fields are surrounding the volcano.

 

  1. Aurora Borealis: also called the northern lights, Aurora Borealis offer an entrancing, dramatic, magical display of lights that captivates all who see it. Electrically charged particles from the sun react with atoms in the upper atmosphere and create those magical lights.

 

  1. The Grand Canyon: It’s not the deepest canyon in the world, the Grand Canyon is known throughout the world for its overpowering size and its colourful topography. It is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. As the name suggests, the Grand Canyon is so enormous that it can be seen from space. In 1991 Grand Canyon became a national park. The Grand Canyon is carved by the Colorado River in the Arizona state of the U.S.A. It is 446 km long, up to 29 km wide and attains a depth of over 1,857 meters

 

  1. Victoria Falls: One of the 7 natural wonders, the beautiful Victoria Falls is located in Africa along the borders of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The rainy season is the best time to visit Victoria Falls.

 

  1. Mount Everest: The highest peak of the world, Mount Everest stands 8848m tall. Everest lies within the Himalayan mountain range on the border of Nepal and Tibet, China.

 

  1. The Great Barrier Reef: It is the world’s largest coral reef. The Great Barrier Reef includes over nine hundred islands, roughly three thousand separate reefs, and sustains a diverse ecosystem. Visitors can take boat trips to see the reef up close.

 

7. Harbor of Rio de Janeiro: Surrounded by granite mountains and hilltops, it also includes Sugar Loaf Mountain, Corcovada Peak, and the Tijuca hills. It was created by erosion caused by the Atlantic Ocean. Tourists are offered helicopter rides to expel the experience the magnificent aerial view of the harbour.
