  1. Women were once made to wear muzzles: History has numerous severe instances of the oppression of women. For example, in the 17th century United Kingdom, women who were perceived to be ‘too outspoken’ or more prone to say something ‘inappropriate’ were forced to wear “scold’s bridle’, which is a metal muzzle. The muzzles were locked around her head and sometimes included spiked plates to be placed in her mouth.

The Chernobyl nuclear meltdown, all were caused in one way or another by exhaustion caused by lack of sleep on the part of the men who were responsible for preventing such disasters.
